Mars 2018 gelding out of Mcfaddin Isabella by SY Chilo. This colt is super cool. Talk about polo running through your blood. Isabella is a full sister to Jesse Brays machine Caiman, a great big sorrel gelding that you would have seen in the last few years playing in Santa Barbara. We couldn’t resist purchasing this colt as a yearling after trading Bobby Mccan a breeding with Chilo for a breeding to Geronimo, we ended up with both of foals from a result of the trade! Hey, we like what we like, and Chilos colts have proven themselves time and time again in our eyes. Mars is a stout, big bodied gelding, and he has that automatic “Jake brake” which only comes naturally. You can press on the gas all the way and as soon as you let off this colt sucks right back down in to your hands. For a bigger guy he is super agile and naturally puts his feet in the right pace.
Mars was purchased by Jesse Bray summer of 2023 as predicted by trainer Tiamo. We are thrilled that this colt went to one of our best American players and will be playing the high goal repping the SY brand. He is a prime example of our bloodlines, and operation. He has made us very proud!
