Varro

Varro is a talented Mcfaddin bred horse that SY Trainer and Manager Tiamo Hudspeth purchased as a fairly rank 2 yo. He is the full sibling to Pringa and Mahkota, two San Ysidro greats. Tiamo bought him sight unseen and in three years transformed him in to a machine just like his older siblings. Varro has all the speed, handle, and smarts a player could want. We are so grateful he was purchased by Pegasus Polo alongside his barn mate Electra. We cannot wait to hear updates! Congratulations on this dynamic gelding. Fun fact, this is the first horse to ever carry Tiamo’s own brand: the whale tail. A whale tail symbolizes strength, speed, and good luck, which is very fitting for a polo pony and a tribute to Tiamo’s island roots.
